About the Garden Club
The Garden Club is an activity of St Matthew's that caters to those who enjoy sharing and learning about gardening. People from far and near gather around this common interest.
The club meets on the first Friday of the month (except January) to discuss matters "Gardening" and to enjoy friendly flower competitions. The club arranges for a guest speaker to come and present on a specific topic. The Trading Table is very popular and the Library well stocked.
Each year a special Gardening Club Sunday service is held in the church with flower displays and thanksgiving to God for the beauty of God's creation and human creativity.
